On March 28, 2019, Fiber Online welcomed a new member today - Zhejiang Guangte Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangte Technology). Guangte Technology specializes in the development and production of high-end optical chip technology products, primarily focusing on III-V compound semiconductor lasers and detector chips, 100G/200G/400G silicon-photonic integrated chips, as well as silicon-photonic active and passive devices.

We are the first to mass produce 25G PD chips, and the design verification of 400G silicon-photonic chips is currently underway

According to Fiber Online, Guangte Technology has launched 25G PIN PD chips, 4*25G PIN PD array products, etc. at the end of 2018, which can be used in 100G transceiver modules for data centers, 25G/100G optical modules for 5G wireless fronthaul and bearer networks. 25G PD can be used in 25G SFP28 transceivers, and 10G APD can be used in 10G PON modules for FTTx; meanwhile, Guangte Technology's high-speed PD array can also be used in the next-generation 200G/400G data center optical module products that current customers are working on. This series of products has been verified by some customers and can be delivered in batches at present.

In addition, Guangte Technology has completed small-scale production verification of 100G/200G silicon-photonic integrated chips, and the 400G silicon-photonic chip is also in the design verification stage. We believe that corresponding samples will be released soon.
