The Xunshi Hero List is composed of a panel of judges consisting of over 30 experts in the optical communication field and Xunshi Consulting. The evaluation is based on data such as technology, cost, market share, customer satisfaction, and third-party authoritative verification of the participating products, while also taking into account factors such as business performance, growth rate, research and development intensity, and patents. Through extensive and multiple rounds of evaluation and discussion, and through the final comprehensive scoring, the 2021 Xunshi Hero List is determined.


In 2021, the demand for traffic prompted service providers to upgrade their networks. With the growth of 5G users, the proportion of traffic further increased, capital expenditure on cloud data centers is expected to rise, 400G optical modules began to be mass-produced, 800G solutions emerged one after another, CPO emerged, and optical transceivers are expected to maintain a promising outlook in the next five years. Looking ahead, the mergers and acquisitions of overseas optical communication giants continue, aiming at future tracks and core technologies. The tight supply of chips may affect the progress of optical transmission networks and 5G construction... In today's post-pandemic era, the Xunshi Hero List also takes on greater significance, connecting the past and the future, recognizing excellent products, and praising brave innovation.

The SiP PSM 1200G(12x100G) PD array chip is designed under the leadership of Dr. Li, our Vice President of R&D, and co-developed with the 44th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. Part of the packaging and testing is carried out by Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering. This 12-channel 1200Gps silicon photonic integrated detector chip features a single-channel rate of up to 100Gbps (PAM4 signal). Utilizing traditional CMOS technology, it integrates a 12-channel silicon photonic (SiP) high-speed detector array design. Over a thousand 12-channel chips can be integrated and fabricated on a 6-inch wafer, with a chip thickness of up to 300um. It is applied to high-speed optical receivers for parallel single-mode (PSM) 25/50 Gbps NRZ and 50/100 Gbps PAM4 signals. Single-mode optical signals can be effectively coupled into low-loss silicon waveguides through polishing and AR coating surfaces, using fiber arrays or free-space systems.


This award marks a significant step forward in the company's development, and it is the result of the joint efforts and hard work of the entire Guangte team and our partners.
